This Privacy Policy explains how PinPointMAPS collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you visit this website, contact us, request a review or quote, book a meeting, create or use a customer portal account, submit intake information or monthly updates, or connect a Google Business Profile.
Information we collect
Depending on how you use the site and portal, we may collect:
- Contact and business information, including your name, email address, phone number, business name, website or profile URL, location count, market, and messages you send.
- Portal account information, including your sign-in email, account approval status, and authentication information handled by Lovable Cloud. We do not receive your password in readable form.
- Intake and service information, including location details, profile access notes, attributes, links, products, offers, events, posts, social links, advertising goals, budgets, and other information you choose to provide.
- Files you upload, such as logos, business photos, product images, and other media submitted for the requested work.
- Monthly portal submissions, including content requests, business updates, Map Ads instructions, selected locations, dates, links, phone numbers, and budgets.
- Basic referral and campaign information included in a page address when you submit a review or quote request.
- Website usage information collected through configured Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager tools, which may include device, browser, interaction, and similar usage data and may use cookies or comparable technologies.
Google Business Profile information
If you choose to connect Google Business Profile from the Intake tab, PinPointMAPS may access the email address associated with the connected Google account and the Business Profile fields used to prefill your intake: business or location name, address or service area, phone number, website, categories, regular hours, special hours, and business description.
The connector is read-only. It does not publish to, edit, or otherwise change your Google Business Profile. We use this Google data only to show your available locations and prefill the user-facing intake form. You choose which locations to import and can review or change the imported information before submitting the intake.
To support an ongoing connection, we store the connected Google email address and an encrypted Google refresh token in Lovable Cloud. Google access tokens are used transiently when retrieving locations and are not saved as a persistent connection record. Short-lived connection state is also stored during the authorization process.
Google API Limited Use disclosure
PinPointMAPS's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
How we use information
We use information to:
- Respond to inquiries, review requests, and quote requests.
- Schedule meetings and send requested confirmations or service emails.
- Create, approve, secure, and support customer portal accounts.
- Provide intake, profile-management, content, website, and Map Ads services.
- Prepare and administer proposals and paid services.
- Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, protect, and improve the site and portal.
- Measure site usage and understand how visitors reach and use the site.
- Comply with law and protect users, PinPointMAPS, and the service.
How information is shared
We do not sell Google user data or other personal information. We do not use Google user data for advertising. Information may be shared only as needed to operate the service, fulfill your requests, comply with law, or protect users and the service.
The site uses Lovable Cloud for account authentication, database storage, file storage, server functions, and transactional email delivery. The booking page embeds TidyCal; information you submit through that scheduler is provided directly to TidyCal and is subject to its own privacy practices. Google provides portal sign-in, analytics tools, and, when you choose to connect it, Google Business Profile authorization and data.
Authorized PinPointMAPS administrators can access customer records and submissions as needed to review accounts and deliver requested services. Submission emails may include time-limited links to uploaded files.
Storage, security, and retention
Portal, intake, submission, and uploaded-file records are stored in Lovable Cloud. Access controls limit customer portal records to the signed-in customer and authorized administrators, according to the feature involved. Google refresh tokens are encrypted before storage and are not exposed to the browser.
We keep information as needed to operate the account, provide requested services, maintain business records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. We do not apply one fixed retention period to every category of information. No internet service or storage system can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and requests
You can disconnect Google from the Google Business Profile import panel in the portal's Intake tab. Disconnecting attempts to revoke the Google authorization and deletes the stored Google connection, including the encrypted refresh token and connected email. You can also revoke access directly from the third-party access or connections area of your Google Account.
Disconnecting Google does not automatically delete information already imported into an intake. You can change or remove imported information before submitting it. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of submitted information or your account, email info@pinpointmaps.com.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the service changes. The date at the top shows when this policy was last updated.
